Fiercekitten, Nicole - so pleased to have stumbled upon you - I used to pull hair from the crown of my head when I was a teenager, as well as biting nails. Both have stopped, but for several years now I have been pulling my eyebrows on and off. And I'm a 40-odd man who is supposed to have nice full, hairy eyebrows! I am getting increasingly worrie more…

what a wonderful idea to track your progress. I wish you much luck - you will do it, I believe. :-)

I found your blog while searching for help on trich. I pull out my eyebrows between 10-50 times per day. Needless to say, it looks awful. more…

    Thankyou.

English Social History is very intersting - and more opinionated than many more modern books, which makes it more interesting than many modern books. Facts are not exhaustive. At one point, the author casually laments that the 'protroliat' (probably haven't spelt that correctly) have been overeducated (evidently I haven't!). more…

I've really enjoyed reading your blog, and about your condition, its given some food for thought. Why is empathy such a hard thing for most people to feel?

I think its great how you're going through this condition and continue to stay strong and have gone to university and such. It's like a kick in the face to those who taunted you. more…

I admit I've never heard of the condition you have but I've read your posts and can't imagine it. I hope you get the success you're after in this battle.

I just bought English Social History in a charity shop recently. Haven't started it yet, how is it? I have about 7 books on the go at the minute. I'm terrible for starting new ones b more…

People can be bloody awful and cruel.

Some people can be supportive and kind.

It's a pitty there seem to be more of the former than the latter in the world.

I hope you find some more of the kind ones. more…
